Christopher J. Lewie is an award-winning city planner from Columbus, Ohio. His book Two Generations on the Allegheny Portage Railroad is the true story of the first railroad to cross the Allegheny Mountains in western Pennsylvania in 1834 and two generations of men (the Humphreys) who worked on it for 25 years until 1857. The Humphreys were also his direct ancestors from Wales. Mr. Lewie also worked as a researcher and on-screen personality for the documentary film “Lost Legend: The Chic Harley Story.”
