A member of the faculty of the James Madison University Civil War Institute, Ben Fuller Fordney also teaches history at Bridgewater College. A graduate of Loyola University of Chicago and James Madison University, Fordney has brought the analytical skills he learned from a career as a foreign service officer to the study of this raid.
