C. L. "Chip" Bragg obtained his doctor of medicine degree and completed his residency training in anesthesiology at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He subsequently served in the United States Air Force prior to moving to Thomasville, Georgia, in 1989, where he now resides with his wife and three sons. In addition to publishing in the medical field, Dr. Bragg has contributed several magazine articles pertaining to Confederate history and is presently coauthoring a book about the Confederate Powder Works in Augusta. He is an active member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans.
