An American with Irish ancestry, Cynthia G. Neale has long possessed a deep interest in the tragedies and triumphs of the Irish during the Famine. Ms. Neale has written a play on the Famine as well as several essays and stories as a freelance writer and is currently studying at Vermont College. A native of Watkins Glen, New York, she now resides in New Hampshire. She enjoys traveling to Ireland to experience its beauty and haunting mystery first-hand.
