When fourteen-year-old Becca sees a strange-looking boy trying to retrieve something from the moat at Fort Monroe, Virginia, and experiences other mysterious happenings, her life takes some unexpected turns. At the Casemate Museum, Becca meets handsome junior guide Danny, and along with her friend Marty, the three explore the museum and the old Civil War base pet cemetery. After receiving strange poetic notes, they find themselves on the trail of an apparent civil war ghost!
